The Royal Holloway Prayer Room is located opposite Founders reception, and behind the Natwest Bank (see map below).The small gravel car park is available for use on weekends and for the later (in the day) prayers, so as not to disrupt the university traffic.

What is Available:

In the prayer room, there are prayer and ablution facilites for both, male and female. Our library contains Qur’ans, Tafsir collections and books of Hadith and Seera.
There are lessons in the prayer room as well such as the Weekly Wednesday Qur’an & Tajwid Workshop at 6pm, a Thursday Evening Course which varies in subject each term (7 – 8:30 pm) and more to come inshaAllah.

There are spare garments avaliable for the convenience of the prayer room users.

How to Enter:

To enter the prayer room you need a pass-code. Please use the Contact page and message ‘Prayer Room Officer’ on the list for the pass-code, which exists for security reasons.

Prayer Room Classes:

RHUL Wednesday Qur’an Class - Qur’an workshop on tajwid, memorisation and recitation.

Polite Reminder:

- Please look after the Prayer Room, keep it clean, if you are last to leave in summer, please close windows.
- Remember to switch off the lights when not in use.
- Please keep your shoes in the shoe rack provided because it causes inconvinence for the sisters.
- Return all items to where you found them and in their previous state.
- It is the duty of prayer room users to maintain the cleanliness of this room.

Jummah Prayers

Jummah takes place in Wetton’s Annexe – across the bridge from the main entrance – at 1:10pm every week.  The venue only changes during the exam period, so look out for updates.  Also, have a look at our youtube channel for visual directions. RHUL ISoc
